Monroe Township crime log includes theft of steak knives
Six charms for a woman bracelet valued at $155 were stolen Jan. 14 from a United Parcel Service package left at a residence in the 1900 block of Maria Elaina Drive. The 62yearold victim was advised by UPS that they would pick up the package and investigate.
A radar detector and the head of an indash stereo were stolen Jan. 14 from a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Harvard Place. There was significant damage to the interior and dash.
A $100 Coach purse containing $40 in cash and personal items was stolen Jan. 12 from a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am parked in the driveway of a residence in the 1200 block of South Beecham Road. The front passenger side window was broken to gain entry. Damage to the window is estimated at $300.
A $250 iPod, three credit cards and other items were stolen Jan. 12 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 900 block of Hampton Way.
Three boxes containing 2,400 nine inch steak knives valued at $550 were stolen Jan. 113 from outside a residence in the 300 block of Florence Boulevard.

A 34yearold Coles Mill Road woman was charged Jan. 12 with disorderly conduct and transported via ambulance to Kennedy Health System in Washington Township. Police were summoned for a report of an unruly person. The accused admitted she had spent the day drinking and smoking crack.

A $50 Motorola Bluetooth and $30 in cash were stolen Jan. 12 from a 2002 Dodge Ram while it was parked at a residence in the 200 block of Canterbury Place.

Thomas Armstrong, 30, of Main Road, Franklin Township, was charged Jan. 11 with theft. He is accused of stealing three manhole covers on Clayton and Tuckahoe roads. He allegedly told police he was going to sell the covers for their scrap value to buy food.
Two storage units in the 1600 block of New Brooklyn Road were broken into Jan. 5. A steel chair was used to break into the units. A list of stolen items was to be provided to police.
Vandals threw a brick through the read window of a Pontiac Grand Am on Jan. 9 while it was parked at a residence in the 200 block of South Main Street.
