Keep in mind when considering spending this kind of money that diaper bags take a beating. Bottles leak. Not all bathrooms have hooks to hang them on. Men are especially careless with cleanliness as well. The tylenol lid never seems to be put on tight and then you have sticky baby tylenol all over the bag. The goldfish get spilled and crushed up. The list goes on. We got a really nice swiss army bag that has held up perfectly over the last two years. And my husband has no problem carrying it around because it doesn't look like a purse with girly colors.
I have the Ju Ju Be be prepared. It is huge, but I got it because it needed something that would work great while traveling with multiple small children. I've used it for almost two years and it still looks brand new (never happened with any other diaper bag) IMO it is worth the money, but mine is too big for everyday usethough I did use it every day for a while. I usually use a vera bradley diaper bag (that I've had for 5 years!) or a little gift bag type thing (not paper, but plastic/fabric) that I put a couple of diapers in and maybe a snack and small book.
Anyway, my point is, Ju Ju Be is great. They hold up really well. They are a little heavy in my experience, but that is because the fabric is thicker and sturdier. They are also very cute. But there are other great options out there also.

I bought a ju ju be Be Spicey and a Mighty Be. I loved the construction of the be spicey, I cannot imagine a better made bag. However, with its quality materials and hardware came weight. It is so heavy I never carry it. So, I have a totally awesome, too heavy diaper bag. I would compare it to Coach bags, very well made but very heavy even empty. I also bought the Might Be because its only like 1/2 a lb. its like a huge beach bag. Works great! Its not as heavy, but the materials probably aren't the same. Has held up just fine though.
